Wonderkid Road Privacy Policy

Who we are

Wonderkid Road (“the game”) is a mobile football game made by Colorcode Games, the games division of COLORCODE SRL, a company registered in Romania (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

This policy applies to the Wonderkid Road apps for Android and iOS. It does not cover other games or websites, including the stores you download the game from.

The short version

• You don’t need an account to play, and we don’t ask for your name, email or phone number.
• The game shows ads. Our ad partners use your device’s advertising ID and basic device information to show and measure those ads.
• We use analytics and crash reports to understand how the game is played and to fix problems.
• Purchases are handled by Google Play or the App Store. We never see your card details.
• You can ask us to access or delete your information at any time: privacy@colorcode.me.

What we collect

Collected automatically when you play

• Device information: device model and manufacturer, operating system and version, screen size, language, time zone, and the game version.
• Identifiers: your device’s advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS where you allow it), and identifiers created by our analytics and crash reporting tools for your installation of the game.
• Network information: your IP address, which our partners may use to estimate your country or region. We do not collect your precise location.
• Gameplay and usage: events such as starting a match, progressing your career, session length and the features you use.
• Crash and performance data: technical details about errors and crashes, such as the state of the app and device when the problem happened.
• Advertising data: which ads were shown, whether you interacted with them, and your advertising choices.

When you buy something in the game

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple’s App Store under their own terms and privacy policies. We receive a confirmation of the purchase (the item, price, currency, date and a transaction ID) so we can deliver it to you. We do not receive your payment card details, billing address or store account details.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

What we don’t collect

We don’t collect your name, contacts, photos, microphone or camera input, or precise location.

How we use it

Advertising

Wonderkid Road shows ads served by third-party advertising networks. To decide which ads to show, cap how often you see them, measure how they perform and prevent ad fraud, these networks collect your advertising ID, device and network information and data about the ads you see.

Personalised ads. Where the law requires your consent before ads can be personalised, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for it before personalised ads are shown. If you don’t consent, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your interests.

Controls on your device. You can limit ad tracking at any time:

• Android: Settings › Google › Ads (or Settings › Privacy › Ads), where you can delete or reset your advertising ID.
• iPhone: iOS asks whether the game may track you before your IDFA is shared. You can change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run the game: advertising networks, analytics and crash reporting providers, and hosting. They may only use it to provide their services and, for ad networks, as described in their own privacy policies.
• Google and Apple, who distribute the game and process purchases.
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights, our players or the public.
• A buyer or successor, if Colorcode Games or the game is sold or transferred, under the same protections described here.

We will list the specific providers here, with links to their privacy policies, when the game launches.

Some privacy laws, such as those in California, treat sharing data with advertising partners as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. See Your rights to opt out.

International transfers

Some of our service providers process information outside the European Economic Area. When they do, we rely on an adequacy decision by the European Commission or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses to keep your information protected.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Analytics and crash data are kept under our providers’ retention settings, which we set to the shortest period that still lets us fix problems and improve the game. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Emails are kept for as long as we need to deal with your message.

Children

Wonderkid Road is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. In the European Economic Area, if you are under the age at which you can consent to data processing in your country (16 in Romania), please ask a parent or guardian before playing. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
• correct it, or ask us to delete it;
• restrict or object to how we use it, including for analytics or advertising;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before;
• opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising.

To use any of these rights, email privacy@colorcode.me. Because you don’t have an account with us, we may ask for details that help us find your data, such as your device’s advertising ID. We will reply within one month.

If you are in the EEA, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. In Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), dataprotection.ro.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, and we choose service providers that do the same. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game changes. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above, and if the changes are significant we will tell you in the game or on this page.
